How to remove title field from List

  • Open the list

list settings

  • Goto List in the ribbon and then click on List Settings
  • Goto Advanced Settings 
  • Select Yes for Allow management of content types. Click OK

  • Now in List settings click on Item under Content Types

  • Click on Title

  • Select Hidden. Click OK

  • When you click on new item after opening list title field is no longer present

  • Open SharePoint Designer 2013

  • Click on Open Site
  • In the open site dialog box type the url of the SharePoint site for which you want to remove the links.

Open Site

  • Click Open
  • In the left navigation click Master Pages

  • Click on seattle.master to highlight it.
  • Make a copy of seattle.master.
  • Click the copied master file and then edit the file.
  • Remove the below line from master page.                                                                                <SharePoint:DelegateControl id=”ID_SuiteLinksDelegate” ControlId=”SuiteLinksDelegate” runat=”server” />
  • Save the file
  • Select the copied master page. Select set as custom and then set as default.
  • Go to your site and see the changes.

  • In the left navigation click on All Files. The click on Style Library. Create a custom.css file.
  • Open the custom.css file and paste the below code.
